Family, Friends, Neighbors! The Morgan Community House needs your support!
We’ve built more than walls here—our ancestors built a home for our community.
The Morgan Community House has long been at the heart of our town, and together we have the opportunity to restore it as a vibrant gathering place for generations to come.
Our vision is to create a welcoming space where people of all ages can come together throughout the year—for community gatherings, town meetings, dances, dinners, holiday celebrations, live entertainment, children’s programs, educational events, and so much more. A thriving Community House strengthens what makes a small town special: neighbors helping neighbors, working together, and creating a true sense of belonging.
Thanks to the generosity of grant providers and community supporters, significant progress was made in 2025. We strengthened the building’s foundation, excavated and installed proper perimeter drainage, painted the exterior, paved a parking area, and improved accessibility with a handicap entrance.
Now we are ready for Phase II, but we need your help to make it happen.
Our goal is to raise $100,000 to complete the next critical stage of renovations, which includes:
- Constructing a new entranceway
- Bringing all electrical systems up to code
- Installing new lighting
- Insulating the building for year-round use
- Replacing doors and windows with energy-efficient materials
- Installing a heating system
- Replacing interior walls
- Renovating the restrooms
These improvements are essential to preserving the Community House and making it safe, accessible, comfortable, and functional for everyone. After years of deferred maintenance, the building is in need of substantial restoration. With your support, we can protect this important landmark and transform it into a place where our community can gather, celebrate, learn, and connect for years to come.
