The Town of Morgan property taxes were due by 4:00 pm on October 22nd, 2026.

All taxes from this time on are now considered delinquent. A 1% interest and a onetime 8% penalty will be applied to the principal amount.

The online payment option has been reactivated for delinquent tax payments. Partial payments are accepted. For the full amount due, please contact our office before making your payment at 802-895-2927.

If you have any questions, the taxes are now in the hands of the Delinquent Tax collector, James Judd. (802) 895-4418.

To make an online payment on our website, go to SERVICES and scroll down to PROPERTY TAX PAYMENTS.

Please note that Larry Labor is taking over the duties of the Deputy Fire Warden for the town on an interim basis, stepping in for Ric Paré.

RECYCLING CENTER/TRANSFER STATION
Regular Hours of Operation: Every Saturday 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.
From Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend, we are also open on Wednesdays 8:00 am – 12 pm. This year, Wednesday’s start on May 27th, 2026 and the last day is Wednesday, September 9th, 2026.

Please notice the fees for Mattresses & Box Springs has increased significantly. To avoid these fees, you can take them apart PRIOR to bringing them to the Transfer Station and put them in the Green Bags. You can watch a video on how to do this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhD6SMjL7DE
